Easy Parmesan Noodle Side Dish recipe!
Simple ingredients, easy to make, and the perfect party dish!
Moms are busy! Here in HappyPlace, we only do easy. Busy Moms typically do not have time to make recipes from scratch. If I see the words “baking powder” in a recipe, I move on. I do not have the time and even if I did, do not want to spend all that prep time on a dish that is likely to burn in the oven while I am escorting toddlers to the potty or breaking up fights. The recipes that get my attention are the ones that only require a few ingredients (and preferably ones I have in the house because I am NOT dragging two toddlers to Walmart for coconut flour).
So here is a side dish to add to your “quick and easy recipes” file. It is also a great “go-to” recipe for parties when you have to “bring a covered dish” . I was surprised at the response I got when I brought this dish to a cookout. Everyone kept asking for the recipe! I couldn’t say “oh, I just opened my fridge and looked for something to throw in with some noodles because I just remembered I had to bring something”. So I developed a recipe and here it is:
Here’s what you need:
1 box noodles (I use Radiatore but you could use probably any type)
3 to 5 Tablespoons of butter
1/2 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
2-3 teaspoon Ranch seasoning powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Boil the noodles according to instructions on the box. Drain. Add butter, Parmesan cheese, and garlic powder while the pasta is still hot. Now for the secret ingredient! Ranch seasoning
I add about 2-3 teaspoons of Ranch Seasoning powder to the pasta then mix. Season with a touch of black pepper on top (probably about 1/4 teaspoon) and you are DONE. You may want to adjust the ingredient amounts to your desired taste. (I always like more seasoning but some people might like more butter- Make it your own!)
You can easily add vegetables, grilled chicken, or shredded cheese to this noodle side dish recipe. You could even all three extras and call it dinner! That would cover all four food groups in one dish!
I hope this Parmesan Noodle side dish recipe saves you some time and gets a big, yummy reaction when you serve it at your next dinner party (or quick supper at the table before soccer practice)!
