What is a Cream Cheese Board?
A Cream Cheese Board is a fun twist on a charcuterie/grazing/snack board.
Using a cutting board or charcuterie board, you spread a cream cheese mixture over the board. It’s basically a thick dip spread out over a board.
Use fresh-cut veggies, crackers, or your choice of snack food to “dip” your item across the board. They are perfect for parties!
Snack boards are often served with a small serving or cheese knife (to avoid double-dipping!).
What ingredients do you need for a Veggie Cream Cheese Snack Board?
8 ounces of plain cream cheese
2 Tablespoons Ranch seasoning powder
+ Assorted veggies to dip!
How to make a Veggie Cream Cheese Board:
- In a small bowl, add one 8-ounce container of plain cream cheese.
- Add 2 Tablespoons of Ranch seasoning powder and mix until combined. (more or less ranch powder can be used to achieve your desired taste)
- Speed over a charcuterie board, or cutting board. You can also serve this dip in a bowl if preferred.
- Garnish with a sprinkle of ranch seasoning powder (optional)
- Serve with assorted fresh-cut veggies for dipping!
Tips for making the best veggie snack board with cream cheese:
• I prefer the tub of cream cheese for boards. The brick is quite hard and the whipped cream cheese melts too easily for serving on a board. You can use whichever you prefer or have on hand.
• More or less Ranch seasoning powder can be used to achieve the desired taste. The more powder you add, the stronger the ranch taste will be. This may also make it taste a little salty so add slowly and stop when desired taste has been achieved.
• This recipe has a thicker consistency, making it easy to spread over a charcuterie board. If you prefer a softer dip, add one tablespoon of sour cream before spreading. This will make a smoother dip but will also make it hard to spread.
• Serve with any veggie, cracker, or bread that you think would go well with a ranch flavor!
